How Do I Start Playing Ballad of Gay Tony on "GTA 4"
After the 2008 release of "Grand Theft Auto IV," Rockstar Games introduced two expansion packs, the latter of which is "The Ballad of Gay Tony." Once installed to your hard drive, you can start the expansion pack from the base game's pause menu whether you have a preexisting game save or not. The process of starting "The Ballad of Gay Tony" is the same as the other expansion pack.

Select "New Game" in the list. The expansion packs, though tied into the main game's storyline, are separate from your main game save. This means because you are playing it for the first time, you must start a brand new game.
