How to Fix Keyboard Keys on Laptops While Playing Games

Many laptop owners enjoy using their computer to play video games. If you find the keys on your keyboard are sticking during the middle of a game, you do not have to stop your game play to fix them. You can simply find out what is causing the keys to stick and resolve the issue.

Things You'll Need

• Flat head screwdriver
• Compressed air

Instructions

1. Press the pause button within your game if a pause feature is available. You can work on your sticky keyboard keys without pausing the game, but it will be a lot easier if you can pause game play.

2. Turn the laptop over and shake it gently to dislodge any dirt and debris under the keys. Use a back and forth motion to loosen the dirt, then a shaking motion to knock it away.

3. Slide a small flat head screwdriver under the sticking key. Carefully insert the point of the screwdriver under the key, then shake the keyboard gently to dislodge the dirt.

4. Spray the keyboard with compressed air to dislodge any additional dirt. Shake the keyboard to knock the dislodged dirt out of the keyboard to prevent additional keys from sticking.
