How to Alter Art Explosion
Art Explosion is a series of clip art image packages people and businesses can purchase and use for their design projects. There are thousands of images contained in the product and you can often find exactly what you are looking for in Art Explosion. However, some things require a little adjustment. You might think that you would need an expensive, complicated professional graphics application to edit the Art Explosion files. However, each of the images come in several formats, including GIF and JPEG, which can be easily edited using the Microsoft Paint application.

Transfer the clip art you wan to alter onto your computer from the Art Explosion DVD. Make sure it is in one of the formats Paint can open, like GIF or JPEG.

Start the Paint application. Select "File" from the menu and choose "Open." In the dialog, browse to, and open, the clip art you loaded.

Use the paint and shape tools in Paint to make whatever changes you like to the clip art. For example, if the clip art element has a border or other shape around it, you can set the brush to the same color as the background color and paint over the offending part. Or you can use the "Text" tool to add text to the clip art.

Select "File" from the menu and choose "Save As." In the dialog, save the file as a JPEG.
