How to Unlock the Secret Character for the Monopoly Spongebob Squarepants Edition

"Monopoly" was created in 1934 and since its release, several different versions have been released as board games and video games. "Monopoly: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition," based on the Nickelodeon television show, was released in January 2008 and is geared at younger people. There is a secret character to unlock in the game after you have completed certain achievements. This adds to the game play experience and gives you something to work toward as you play.
Go to "Game Options" and check the option to turn on bonus cards.
Play through the game multiple times to achieve the 12 bonus cards. The bonus cards are obtained after you complete achievements such as owning 20 properties, having 12 hotels on the board and total rent for all games completed equaling $10,000.
Click the password option from the main menu. Type "SpongeStar" (without quotes) to unlock a secret character for in game use. This password is the main one
