Lay the yard of beige material on a flat surface. Measure the desired circumference of the cheeseburger pillow using the tape measure; then mark it with a marker. Measure from the corner of the yard, so that enough material is left to create two of the same circle.

Secure the two circles of the beige material in place with stick pins to create a circular pocket. Do not close the circle all the way off, as you will need a space large enough for your hand open to stuff each circle with the cotton pillow stuffing. Repeat this for all of the other circles of the different color materials.

    • 3

Cut out the circular shape measure with the scissors. Place the circle on another area of the yard of material and trace its circumference with the marker, and cut it out. Repeat this for the red, green, bright orange and dark brown, with two circles for each color of cloth except for the beige -- as cheeseburgers have two buns.

Sew the materials together using the color thread to match.

Double-thread the beige thread into a medium-sized needle. Unroll a long piece of doubled-up thread; then break it off of the spool. Tie in a double knot evenly at the end. Sew the material of the beige circle together along the outside of the stickpins. Use small stitches for a firm attachment. Be sure to leave the opening for stuffing.

    • 5

Repeat for the other cloth circles in the different colors, using the color thread that matches the material. When complete, you should have several circular cloth pockets in different colors. Turn them inside out so that the stitches are not visible. For the green material, add a few scrap pieces to give the look of lettuce. For the piece of beige material meant to be the top bun, sew a few small buttons on the top of it for sesame seeds.

    • 6

Open the packages of pillow stuffing. Stuff each color pocket with stuffing. Stuff the light orange the least because cheese is normally thin, and the green and the red should be the second thinnest because they are the lettuce and the tomato. Stuff the dark brown thick as it is the meat patty, and one of the beige pockets should be fuller than the other.

    • 7

Sew the openings closed using stitches in a circular motion when all of the materials have been stuffed. Be sure to use the color thread matching to each color cloth.

    • 8

Place the thinner beige pillow piece on the bottom. Lay the dark brown pillow piece on top of it, and sew them together by the bottom of the dark brown and the top of the beige. Place the stitches toward the center of the pillow pieces.

    • 9

Place the light orange piece on top of the dark brown piece, and attach it as well. Attach the the green pillow piece to the top of the light orange one; then attach the red one piece to the top of the green piece. Place the fullest beige piece with the buttons sewn on top last. Sew it to the red piece, and enjoy your new cheeseburger throw pillow.

Tips & Warnings
