      Pull the center crown, the large knob located at the 3:00 position of the watch face, to the middle position.

      Press the compass button, located at the 1:00 position of the clock's face, to initiate the calibration sequence. The compass hand will begin rotating. Wait for the rotation to stop before continuing with the calibration.

      Place a paper towel on a smooth flat, level surface such as a tabletop. Lay the watch face down on top of the paper towel.

      Slowly rotate the watch, without lifting it from the surface of the paper towel. Turn the watch two complete revolutions, rotating as slowly as possible. Each revolution should take a minimum of 15 seconds to complete, in order to insure an accurate calibration.

      Press the compass button without lifting or tilting the watch to complete the calibration. Flip the watch over so that the face is visible. If the calibration was successful, the compass hand will momentarily swing from side to side to indicate that the calibration is complete.

      Press the center crown back in, to return the watch to it's neutral interface.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not calibrate your compass near wave-emitting electronics such as televisions or computers, or in the vicinity of large metal objects such as cars or refrigerators. These objects can skew the calibration.
