How to Microwave Waffles
There's nothing like fresh waffles straight out of a waffle iron. But if you don't have an iron or the time to make waffles from scratch, sometimes a frozen waffle will do the trick. Most people crisp and warm frozen waffles in a toaster. But if you prefer softer waffles, heat them up in the microwave. Just be careful not to leave them in for too long to or they will get tough. Thaw frozen waffles 30 minutes. This is optional, but it lessens microwaving time and helps prevent overcooking.

Place two waffles side-by-side on a microwave-safe plate and cover with a slightly damp paper towel.

Place the plate in the microwave 40-45 seconds.

Check to make sure the waffles are sufficiently heated. If not, rotate waffles on the plate and place back in the microwave for another 10-20 seconds.

Cool the waffles on a wire rack for a few minutes.

Tips & Warnings
For waffles not too soft and not too crunchy, microwave for about 25 seconds. Place waffles in a toaster oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30-45 seconds.
