How to Know Your Security Code on Facebook

With login approval enabled, you must enter your security code when logging in on a different computer.

Facebook's login approval system requires you to verify your identity whenever you access your Facebook account from a computer not registered with your account. This identity verification comes in the form of a security code that's sent to the mobile phone you have registered with your account. You then enter this security when prompted to log in to your Facebook account on an unregistered computer. If you want to know your Facebook security code, you can have Facebook send it to you.

Instructions

1. Open the Web browser on the unregistered computer and navigate to the Facebook login page. Type your Facebook email and password in the spaces provided and click the "Login" button to log in to your Facebook account.

2. Click the mobile number you wish Facebook to send the security code to from the list of mobile numbers registered with your account.

3. Click the "Send Security Code" button to have Facebook send the security code to your mobile phone.

4. Open the text message from Facebook on your mobile phone. The security code for your account is listed in the text message.
