When you purchase a Webkinz chipmunk plush animal you can register it on the Internet. By doing so, you obtain the right to enter the Webkinz virtual world, play games and earn Webkinz cash. The cash you earn lets you purchase virtual world items like, virtual food, furniture, exercise equipment, toys, clothes and other personal accesories. The more you participate, the more cash you earn to purchase items for your pet from the W shop.

Open a web browser and go to the Webkinz home page.

Select "New Member" and "Make a New Account" to start the sign-up process. Type in a user name and password, as well as other required new member information. Enter the plush animal code found on the chipmunk's attached tag or in the documentation that comes with it.

Give your chipmunk a name and choose its gender. Wait for the virtual chipmunk to appear in your empty home. Click the "Dress" icon and select any of the basic wardrobe garments. Click the garment you want and watch it appear on your chipmunk.

Participate in activities and play games to earn Webkinz cash with which you can buy more outfits. When you purchase garments at the Webkinz virtual store, these are added to your pet's wardrobe, which is accessed by clicking the "Dress" button.
