How to Connect a Blogger Account to Gmail

Blogger and Gmail are free services provided with a Google account. If you have a Blogger blog, you can connect it to Gmail by creating a new Gmail account on your existing Google account. Google requires you to verify the new Gmail account and sends a verification code to your mobile phone. Once you have verified your Gmail address, it will be linked to other Google services on your account, including Blogger.

Instructions

1. Open a Web browser and log into your Blogger account.

2. Click the "My Account" link in the top-right corner to access your main Google account.

3. Click the "Gmail" link under "Try Something New."

4. Fill out the online form and click the "Continue" button.

5. Provide the information for your Gmail phone verification, then click the "Send Verification Code" button. A code will be sent to your mobile phone.

6. Type the verification code in the text box on the Google account verification page and click the "Verify" button.

7. Click "Show Me My Account" to navigate to your new Gmail inbox. This Gmail account is connected to your Blogger account automatically because both share the same primary Google account.
