How to Leave a Slow Cooker on Overnight
Slow cooking is a technique that applies the slow and low theory to cooking almost everything that can fit in a single pot. Modern slow cookers are outfitted with two heat settings: "High" and "Low." The low setting on many slow cookers can take up to 12 hours to complete cooking for complex recipes or hearty beef dishes. Leaving a slow cooker on overnight requires precision with your recipe, a tight-fitting lid and patience. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
Place your slow cooker in an easy-to-reach area of your kitchen away from any ledges in case of any accidents occurring in the night.
Do not add wet ingredients to the slow cooker unless you are absolutely sure they are measured correctly. Too much liquid can cause the slow cooker to overflow, while too little liquid will slowly burn your dish.
