How to Avoid YouTube Ads in Chrome
Numerous YouTube videos display advertisements before and after playback. You can avoid these advertisements when using the Google Chrome Web browser. Install extensions designed to block video advertisements. The extensions are available from the Chrome Web Store.

Launch Chrome and go to the Chrome Web Store.

Enter "YouTube Options for Google Chrome" in the search box and press "Enter," then select the extension from the search results.

Click "Install" to add the extension to Chrome.

Click the box next to "Hide In-video Ads and Annotations." Ads will be blocked the next time you view a video on YouTube.

Enter "AdBlock" into the Chrome Web Store search box and press "Enter," then select the extension from the search results.

Click "Install" to add the extension to Chrome.

Right-click the "AdBlock" icon in the Chrome toolbar and select "Options."

Check the box beside "Block Ads Inside YouTube Videos." Your preferences will be saved automatically and video ads on YouTube will be blocked.

Enter "ScrewAds" into the search box for the Chrome Web Store and press "Enter." Select the extension from the search results.

Click "Install" to add the extension to Chrome.

Switch the ScrewAds icon in the toolbar to the On position to block ads from YouTube videos.
