How to Remove Stains From a Paved Driveway
Using a power washer is an effective way to clean your paved driveway. If the driveway is stained, it requires closer attention. Common driveway stains include grease and oil. Trisodium phosphate, or TPS, is a cleaning agent and degreaser you can normally purchase at the hardware store. It comes in several forms, including crystal. Sprinkle trisodium phosphate over the stain.

Moisten the stain and cleaner with hot water.

Slip on gloves and scrub the area with a stiff-bristled brush.

Let the TPS sit on the stain for about 30 minutes without rinsing.

Rinse the area. Repeat the previous steps if necessary.

Instead of TPS, scrub the area with a mixture of 1 part soda crystals to 2 part hot water.
