How to Create Ocean Waves in "Maya"
Maya is short for "Autodesk Maya." Designed by Autodesk Inc., Maya is a three-dimensional computer graphics software. With Maya, you can create a wide variety of effects, including ocean waves. Maya has a built-in wizard that makes the process of creating ocean waves relatively easy and quick. Note that you may require administrative rights on certain computers to access Maya.

Open Maya from your desktop shortcut or Start menu.

Click the "Fluid Effects" tab from the top panel and point to "Ocean." Select "Create Ocean."

Click "Option Box."

Check the boxes next to "Attach to Camera" and "Create Preview Plane." Set "Preview Plane Size" to "15" which is a standard value.

Press the "Ctrl"+"A" keys to launch the "Attributes Editor." Click the "Ocean Preview Plane1" tab.

Choose values based on your preference for "Resolution," "Color," and "Displacement" for the ocean wave.

Click "Save" to finish creating the ocean wave.
