How to Put Together a Pepper Potts Costume
Pepper Potts is a member of the Marvel universe and an administrative assistant for Tony Stark, the alter-ego of Iron Man, of Stark Industries. Pepper Potts was a longtime member of the company and was familiar with its workings since Tony's father Howard was running the company and generally indispensable. If you're a fan of the Iron Man comic book series, the film or both, dressing up as Pepper Potts gives you the opportunity to emulate a strong female character in a generally male-dominated comic book universe.

- Copper dye or wig
- Scissors or curlers and barrette
- Corporate dress or suit
- Black high heels

Dye your hair light copper or don a copper wig. Pepper Potts has famously red hair and you can't emulate this character accurately without accounting for the hair color.

Straighten your hair and cut eyebrow-length bangs, if you'd like to imitate the Pepper Potts of the Iron Man films. Wave your hair, combing it to the side and securing it with a barrette, if you'd rather imitate the Pepper Potts of vintage Iron Man comics.

Select an outfit that is smart, sexy and strongly corporate attire. For example, a suit dress, or a chic suit are appropriate choices. Stick to muted colors like black, charcoal or gray, avoid flashy colors. Select garments with clean, fitted lines.

Don a pair of basic black high heel shoes.

Print the words "Stark Industries" and "Pepper Potts" on a blank index card. Glue a small passport-size photo of your face. Get the card laminated and clip it to your outfit to wear as an ID.
