How to Get the Key Off Carl Jackson's Rafters in "Divinity 2"
"Divinity II: Ego Draconis" is the sequel to the fantasy role-playing video game "Divine Divinity." "Divininty II" was released for the Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows on January 5, 2010. The game takes place in a fantasy world called Rivellon. The player controls the game's hero, a member of an elite group called the Dragon Slayers. Carl Jackson is the owner of Jackson's Farm and participates in the main storyline quest called "Skeletons in the Closet," where one of the quests is to obtain a key from the rafters of Carl's house.

Travel to Broken Vally and find Jackson's Farm west of Broken Valley Village. It is surrounded by wooden walls.

Enter the farm and search within the walls for the character Dana.

Speak to Dana, then read her mind to reveal the location of the key in the rafters of Carl's house.

Enter the house, which is on the left of the farm's entrance and the only building on the premesis. Move to the rear of the house. The key is located in the the last rafter.

Observe the stack of two crates in the center of the room and a crate along the right wall. Push the single crate by running against it, moving it towards the back of the room until there is space to push it away from the wall.

Push the crate from the wall, then push it next the stack of two crates.

Step on the crates to reach the rafter and collect the key. The key opens a chest in the basement.
