How to Defuzz Jackets

Wool jackets can attract a lot of fuzz and lint.

As anyone who owns a pet knows, animal fur and other fuzz has a way of clinging to wool jackets. After a few brushes with the cat or dog, your navy pea coat can begin to look like a fur coat. Picking off the fur and lint by hand is a time consuming and tedious job. Fortunately, there is a much easier method to defuzz a jacket that has picked up animal fur, lint and dust.

Things You'll Need

• Clear tape
• Lint roller

Instructions

1. Wrap a piece of clear tape around your index and middle finger, so that the sticky part of the tape is facing outwards.

2. Rub the sticky part of the tape back and forth quickly over the fuzz and lint on your jacket. The tape should remove most of the lint and fuzz.

3. Roll and lint roller over your jacket to remove the fuzz. Roll it back and forth over the fuzz until it lifts.
