How to Get a Background & Layout on Facebook

Change your Facebook background to reflect your musical tastes.

Facebook is a social networking website where you can keep in touch with friends and family. The standard Facebook page is white and blue. If you're bored with the basic look, the Facebook plugin Chameleon Sam helps to revamp your dull profile page and turn it into a dynamic representation of your favorite artist or hobby. Once you've installed the Facebook app on your profile, you'll be able to change your background in seconds whenever the mood strikes.

Instructions

1. Log into Facebook and then type "Background" into the Search text box at the top of the page.

2. Click "Change Your Background Layout On F4c3b00k" and then click "Go to App."

3. Click "Install Plugin" under Chameleon Sam and then click "Install" under the layout of your choice. The app will change your background to your selected layout.

Tips & Warnings

• If you don't see the "Change Your Background Layout On F4c3b00k" search result, click "See more results" at the bottom of the search results and then click "Apps" in the left hand sidebar.

• To change your layout again, click the app name in the left hand sidebar of Facebook and then click "install" under a new layout.
