How to Put Voki on My Glogster Page
In order to use either Voki or Glogster, it requires a basic understanding of how to upload items to a Web page. Both are free sites that allow you to enhance your Internet presence. Voki is marketed towards educators as a "fun" way to teach. It allows an editable animated online avatar to present information uploaded to the program. Glogster is a social networking site that has a special area marketed towards educators. It allows you to upload images, video and sound to give you a special presence on the Web.

Sign into the Voki site and click on "Create New Voki." Customize the Voki with your own information by giving it something to say, designing its appearance, its clothing and its background. Once it appearance meets your requirements, save your Voki avatar.

Decide on the way you wish to manipulate your Voki. The site does not allow you to save it to your computer, but they do have an interface that allows you to upload it to several different common platforms. Unfortunately, the Glogster interface currently does not allow adding embed codes, so to add your Voki to the Glogster website, requires a few more steps.

Download a free streaming program such as CamStudio, Audacity or GarageBand (for Mac). Whichever one you decide to use, ensure the program is open while you save your Voki avatar as an ".AVI" file. Since Voki uses its own format, ".TOV," in order to use the Voki avatar on Glogster requires saving it in a file format that Glogster supports.

Open the streaming program with Voki open in its own tab. Click and drag the CamStudio box over to your Voki and press "Record." Play Voki and allow it to record on the other program.

Save your Voki recording as an .AVI file and upload it to Glogster. Log on to the Glogster website and use the toolbar on the left to upload the video avatar. Select "Video," and then "Upload," inserting the name of your saved Voki file from Step 4. After uploading, choose a player to display your Voki avatar, select the video and click "Use It."

Tips & Warnings
Ensure that it is quiet in the room in which you're recording so that you don't pick up other sounds when recording your Voki.
