How to Design Your Own Long Sleeve Shirt
Design your own long-sleeve shirt to ensure it fits and is as stylish as you imagined. Long-sleeve shirts offer extra design opportunities; embroider your logo on the bicep or draw a multi-colored tattoo down the side of the sleeve. Take your measurements. Measure from the top of your shoulder to your wrist. Measure your bust by wrapping the tape around the broadest part of your chest. Measure from the base of your neck to your belt area for torso measurements. Write down all these numbers.

Choose a long-sleeve shirt style. Select V-, scoop-, collared- or regular-neck shirt. Select the type of fabric, such as cotton or polyester. Choose whether the shirt will button, zip or pullover. Decide on a color.

Design a logo either freehand or using design software on your computer. Use your company name or simply use your own initials. Choose a font and a color for the logo.

Draw a design for your shirt, either freehand or using design software. Alternatively, copy a design from an online source or from a photo, respecting any copyright laws.

Choose a location on the shirt to place the logo, design or both. Decide how much space they should cover.

Visit a local tailor or an online clothing store that offers embroidery and design printing. Share or input your size, style and design data. Check how long it will take to make the shirt and how much it will cost.
