How to Add a PSD File to Blogger

A file with the file extension of PSD is an Adobe Photoshop graphic image file. Blogger is a free blogging site where users can create an account, and then maintain a personal blog. To add a PSD image to Blogger, first convert the graphic to a Web-friendly image type, such as a JPEP, GIF or PNG file. Use Adobe Photoshop to convert the PSD file into a Web graphic to upload to the Blogger site.

Instructions

1. Double-click on the PSD file. The file opens in the Adobe Photoshop application.

2. Click the "File" option on the top navigation bar.

3. Click the "Save for Web" option in the File menu. A File Save dialog box opens.

4. Click the "File Type" dropdown box in the right pane and then click the JPG, GIF or PNG file type from the drop-down list. A preview of the converted version of the file displays in the Preview window.

5. Click the "Save" button. The PSD file is convert to a web-compatible graphic for the Blogget website.
