How Do I Check the History That Has Been Deleted in Mozilla Firefox?
Mozilla Firefox routinely stores its browsing history in a database-like structure, which allows enterprising people to search within the browser history for specific events, and helps log what sites were viewed on which days. Deleting the browsing history can be done for security. Recovering a deleted browsing history is sometimes needed, whether it's a parent trying to recover the browsing history of a child, or an employer trying to recover the browsing history of an employee. While there is no way to recover a browser history from within Firefox, it is possible to use the Windows System Restore utility to roll back a candidate computer to the date before the browser history was deleted and partially recover it.

Save any open documents on the computer you're going to do the System Recovery on. Close any open applications as well. Part of this procedure will require a system reboot.

Click the "Start" menu, then go to "All Programs," and then "Accessories." There will be an option for "System Tools." Choose "System Restore" from the list of options. You'll be presented with a list of restore points that you can choose.

Click the date for the restore point you want to use from the calendar option on the left hand side of the pane, then click "Next." You'll be asked to confirm your selection. Your system will gather the information needed to create the restore point, and then shut down and restart at the prior restore point.

Start Firefox. Click on the "History" option of the menu bar, and "Show all history." Firefox will show all the websites visited through the restore point date.

Tips & Warnings
There is a script that works within the database-like structures Firefox uses to do history recovery; if you don't have a valid restore point, or don't know which restore point to use, load the script and give it a try. It will require more detailed instructions, but it may be able to get you the missing website history that might otherwise fall between the gaps of the System Restore utility.
