How to Cut Open the Waistband in Jeans to Insert Elastic
Jeans are comfortable pants that can be suitable for a wide variety of social situations. However, they don't stretch out at the waist which can make them difficult to wear if you are gaining weight or pregnant. Adding an elastic waistband to your jeans can help them stretch out and make it possible to avoid buying new pairs of jeans. Cutting open the waistband and adding the elastic is a simple process that most amateur tailors or sewers should be able to handle. Does this Spark an idea?
