Reset the Skytex SX-E700 if it does not turn on while it is connected to AC power. Locate the "Reset" switch on the bottom of the netbook. Use a safety pin or other item to push the "Reset" switch. Turn on the netbook after the reset.

Remove and re-insert your netbook's SD card if it is not recognized. Close any open documents stored on your SD card and press the card. Slide the card out when it is ejected. Push the card back into its slot until it clicks.

Ensure the USB cable is securely connected between the netbook and your desktop computer if you are unable to establish a connection between the two devices.

Increase the amount of memory allocated for program memory if you notice programs running slowly on the SX-E700. Click the "Start" button, then click "Settings." Click "Control Panel" and then click "System." Slide the memory bar to the left to increase the amount of allocated program memory.
