How to Convert GDB to EST?
Global positioning systems, or GPS devices, allow users to navigate, track and store map information between any number of points. These mobile devices communicate with satellites to relay precise information to your location. Each device uses its own file system to store these points and other information, so none are directly compatible with each other. Garmin's GPS devices use the GDB format for storage and Microsoft's Streets and Tips software uses the EST extension. If you would like to use your Garmin location points with Streets and Tips, you must first convert this file. Use the GPSBabel program to complete this task.
