How to Knit a Scarf Using Fuzzy Yarn or Fun Fur
Knitting a scarf with fuzzy yarn is a simple way to create a fashionable accessory. Using a novelty yarn called eyelash yarn, which resembles fur or feathers, adds a fun touch to a simple scarf. A basic garter stitch pattern showcases the unique texture of the yarn, which comes in many different colors to suit all tastes. These yarns are bulky weight, which knits up quickly, so a completed project is only a few hours away.

Tips & Warnings
Be sure to match dye lots if purchasing more than one skein to assure color continuity.
Since these yarns are bulky weight, size 10 or 11 needles are best. Smaller needles will knit a tighter fabric, while larger ones will work up looser.
Hold two strands of yarn together as one and use size 15 needles, casting on only 13 stitches, for a faster knit.
Stripe the scarf by alternating yarn color every eight rows.
Make the scarf longer by simply knitting more rows, or wider by casting on more stitches at the start. Remember, you will need more yarn to complete the project if you do so.
Make several to have on hand for gifts for family and friends.
