1
Print business cards with your name and contact information to distribute to potential clients. Keep in mind that women of all ages, as well as men, could be potential jewelry-buyers. Hand out business cards at the park, at play dates and at the grocery store. Give them to your hairdresser and friends. You can also leave business cards in public restrooms or at a restaurants.

2
Set goals for your business. Decide how many parties you'd like to do each week, how many hours you plan to spend promoting the business and how much money you'd like to earn. Write these goals down and post them on your wall so you can see them each day. Come up with a plan to achieve your goals. For example, if you want to sell at three parties each week, call up potential clients and ask them to host an event. Hand out Lia Sophia flyers to your neighbors or post them on a public bulletin board to improve your business. Offer incentives to people who host parties, including free products.

Trade parties with a friend. If you have a friend who also has a consulting business, ask if she'd consider trading parties. You can invite your friends to a party she hosts, and she can do the same for you. You'll both increase your client and business networks while you help each other out.

Know your products. When you talk about the jewelry line with party guests, you'll need to be ready to answer any questions they have. Read through your consultant manual several times and ask your supervising consultant if she has any tips and tricks for you. Review the catalog and uncover as much information as possible. The more you understand and know about the jewelry, the easier it will be for you to sell.
