How to Multi-Post on Craigslist

Post multiple ads on Craigslist only if each ad serves a distinct purpose, such as selling two different items or posting one ad seeking a job and another seeking romance. Don't attempt to post the same item multiple times using slightly different verbiage, as this constitutes spam under Cragislist's terms of use and may result in your being banned from the site.

Instructions

    • 1

Choose "My Account" in the upper left section of the Craigslist homepage and click "Sign Up for An Account." Provide an email address that you can quickly check and type the image verification string. Click "Create Account." Wait for a confirmation email from Craigslist.

    • 2

Open the confirmation email and click the link within the message to activate your account. Registering for a Craigslist account isn't required, but it eliminates having to re-authenticate for each ad you post when you are logged in.

    • 3

Navigate to the Craigslist homepage and choose "Post to Classifieds." Select a Category, such as "For Sale," and then choose a sub-category, such as "Furniture" or "Autos." Input a title, price, location and description of the item and upload up to four photos to display with your ad.

    • 4

Choose "Continue" to preview your ad. Type the image verification, then accept Craigslist's "Terms of Use" to post your ad live on the site.

    • 5

Navigate back to the Craigslist homepage to create your next ad. Post multiple ads if desired, as long as each ad pertains to a different product, service or request.

Tips & Warnings

  • Craigslist is designed to allow users to post local ads, so unless you reside in more than one community, limit your ad posts to your home city.
