Freeze the yolk portion of a deviled egg.

Raw eggs can be frozen and thawed successfully, but cooked eggs present some difficulties. When it comes to freezing deviled eggs, the "deviled" portion of the egg can be frozen quite easily. However, the cooked egg-white portion of the deviled egg will become tough, rubbery and watery after being placed in the freezer and thawed, so it is advisable that you discard the egg white and keep only the egg yolk mixture. Instructions

    • 1

Spoon out the yolk mixture from the deviled eggs.

    • 2

Combine the deviled egg mixture and place it in an air-tight container or resealable plastic bag. Preventing air from reaching the egg mixture will keep it fresh for a longer period of time in the freezer.

    • 3

Label the bag or container with the date the eggs were placed in the freezer. This will help you keep track of how long the eggs have been in the freezer.

    • 4

Place the container or bag containing the egg mixture in the freezer.

    • 5

Thaw the deviled egg mixture in the refrigerator overnight before use.
