How to Create Margins in Dreamweaver
When you start the process of building a Web page in Adobe Dreamweaver or pick up a page already begun by another designer, many choices and options await, from how you'll hook up hyperlinks to the pictures you'll import to the banners to load through the text to write. Although Dreamweaver makes some assumptions when setting up your page, such as margin sizes, you also have free reign to change them, creating margins to suit the best appearances for your pages.

Tips & Warnings
You can also perform this function on an existing Dreamweaver page by clicking the "Open..." link on the main splash screen, browsing to the page and double-clicking it. Just keep in mind that changing the margins on an existing page may severely disrupt the integrity of the page, changing text flow, shifting images and moving buttons. Any time you change the margins, be sure to scroll through your page(s) and review them before publishing to the Web.
