How to Troubleshoot My Lasso Tool That Is Offset
Adobe Photoshop's lasso tool works magic when you need to select, cut and shape images with a free-form shape. However, if you use advanced setting or press the wrong key while using the lasso tool, the lasso appears permanently offset. However, Photoshop gives you a way to fix the lasso tool and reverse any mistakes.

Click "Edit" and select "Step backward" if you just noticed the change in your lasso tool. The "Step backward" function removes the last action. If you noticed the problem earlier, then continue to troubleshoot.

Select the lasso tool from your toolbox on the left.

Find the "Options" bar at the top. Move your mouse over to the left side and right-click on the lasso tool icon in the "Options" bar.

Select "Reset tool" from the drop-down menu. The lasso tool will reset to its default settings, removing any offset.
