How to Refresh Posts on Craigslist

Craigslist is akin to an online garage sale. Registered users create their own listings -- called posts -- complete with information about what they're trying to sell, pictures of the items up for grabs and the desired sale price of the item or items. Craigslist uses regional listings, meaning you can browse through local listings for your immediate area instead of searching through a national database. Once your post expires, you can easily refresh it -- or "repost" it, to use the Craigslist term -- so it publishes for another 45-day period.

Instructions

    • 1

Log in to your Craigslist account. Although non-account holders can create a posting on Craigslist, these postings will be deleted after the website's 45-day listing period expires.

    • 2

Click on the "Your Postings" tab at the top of your account homepage.

    • 3

Select "Inactive" option at the top of the "Your Postings" tab. This will bring up only postings that have expired and are no longer actively posted on Craigslist.

    • 4

Scroll through your inactive postings until you locate the one you want to refresh.

    • 5

Click on the word "Repost" next to the post you wish to refresh to Craigslist's active listings. You can edit your initial posting before confirming its content and publishing it on Craigslist.
