If you would like to participate in the global conversation found on Twitter, but lack the time to constantly check the Twitter home page or a dedicated Twitter client, you can subscribe to a tweet digest that delivers updates to your email. For Twitter, you can configure a tweet digest of your favorite users or Twitter lists that delivers updates to your email at the frequency you prefer.

Instructions

  1. ListiMonkey

      Go to the ListiMonkey home page and enter the Twitter list ID or Twitter username in the "Twitter User or List" text box.

      Select optional filters in the "Filter by Keywords" text box.

      Type your email address, select the digest delivery frequency, then click "Subscribe." Updates pertaining to the Twitter list or user you selected will be delivered to your email in digest format.

    Digestly

      Open the Digestly home page and enter the username of the Twitter user that you want to receive a tweet digest from.

      Type in your email address, select the tweet digest frequency, then click "Subscribe."

      Sign into your email and confirm your subscription by clicking the confirmation link found in the email you receive from Digestly.

    TweetyMail

      Click "Sign in" at the top right of the TweetyMail home page.

      Sign into your Twitter account, then click "Authorize App."

      Click "Home" and enter your email address in the "Welcome to TweetyMail" prompt, then click "Link Email Address." Sign into your email address and confirm account creation by clicking the confirmation link in the email sent by TweetyMail.

      Select the "Alerts" tab.

      Select the email alert that fits your needs. You can create email alerts for Twitter users, lists or search terms.

      Configure the email alert user name, list name or search terms and select an email digest frequency, then click "Create Alert."
