How to Get Rid of Logo on a PSP's Gameboot
The gameboot screen plays for a few seconds immediately after you start a new game on the Sony PlayStation Portable. The default gameboot features the "PSP" logo and plays a system sound before the start of game play. You have the option of disabling the gameboot If you don't want to see the "PSP" logo every time you start a game.

Turn off your PSP, then turn it back on while holding the "R" button on the upper right corner of the PSP. The recovery menu will come up.

Select the "Configuration" option, which is the second choice down on the main recovery menu.

Select the "Fix Gameboot" option on the configuration menu. It will read "Disabled" next to that option.

Select "Back" to return to the main recovery menu. Select "Exit" to reboot the PSP, and the new settings will be in effect.

Insert a game into the PSP. When the game starts up, the screen will be blank for a few seconds instead of displaying the gameboot. The game will start within seconds.
