How to List PTF on AIX
IBM's AIX UNIX operating system contains PTF files within the "/etc" directory. These files contain vital system configuration information and can be listed to determine what services are configured on the machine. Once viewed, you'll be able to edit the file or search for its name to determine more information about what it does.

Log onto your IBM AIX system using the root user name and password.
