Tips & Warnings
Make sure that the wedding dress is insured both ways before shipping. Also, use a shipping service that has a tracking number so you can keep track of the location of the dress.
Print or save the warranty information associated with the dress preservation. The companies provide certain warranties against discoloration or deterioration of the dress. These warranties can last 20 years or more. Holding onto the warranty information will give you recourse if you have an issue with the preservation a decade down the line.
The cost of wedding dress cleaning and preservation can run between $200 and $800. Fixing snags and tears may cost extra.
