How to Set Click Through Links in Tumblr
Tumblr's reblog feature can seriously increase a post's popularity, as it gets reposted multiple times to the Dashboard. However, reblogging can also cause your post to get separated from your blog, meaning that so many people have reblogged it that the original poster is lost. To prevent this from happening, you can set a click-through link for photo posts or attribute a source link for text, link, video, audio, quote and chat posts. Setting a click-through link or source link ensures that your blog's URL remains with your post no matter how many times it gets reblogged.

Navigate to Tumblr.com and log in to your account.

Click a post icon on your Dashboard to create a new text, photo, link, video, audio, quote or chat post.

Click the "Set Click Through Link" link under the "Caption" field for photo posts. Type the URL you want to set as your click-through link into the field that appears.

Type the URL you want to set as your source directly into the "Content Source" field in the left column of the "Create Post" page for text, link, quote, audio, video and chat posts.
