How to Render in GIMP
Rendering is the process of cutting out an image from it's background. This is a very useful skill to learn in an image editing program like GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program). GIMP is a free photo editing program that still has most of the functionality of premium photo editing software. Rendering is a fairly easy process that only gets easier the more you practice.

Tips & Warnings
If you don't already have GIMP installed you can download it for free from the GIMP website. If you do have GIMP installed already, you can still check for updates to the software which come out regularly.
Photo editing software typically requires more CPU processing than other applications so if you feel your computer going slow during this process you may need to upgrade your PC with more RAM or a faster CPU.
