How to Install Zend Options on cPanel
Zend Optimizer is a free tool you can use in cPanel to speed up PHP delivery to your website readers. It includes options to compress code or focus server speed on certain areas of the site. cPanel does not include Zend Optimizer by default, but it does include a script that will automatically download and install Zend. This will place the options link in your cPanel dashboard, under the section "Misc."

Log on to cPanel.

Click "SSH." This will open the command-line window for your server.

Type "/scripts/installzendopt" (no quotes) into the window and hit "Enter."

Wait for the window to say "Install Complete." Because part of the installation requires downloading the program files onto the server, this could take a minute or so.

Return to the cPanel dashboard. You will see the Zend Optimizer options available via a button in the "Misc" section.
