How to Do the Second to Last Level in "Big Bang Arcade"

"Big Bang" spoofs the theory of electron reactions.

"Big Bang" is a game in which you play as a traveling alien who must create reactions by adding electrons to atoms, clearing the board. Your electrons are carefully monitored and you don't get more just for completing a level. So it's important that if you want to beat the second to last level that you begin using your strategy from level one to make sure you have enough resources by then.

Instructions

    • 1

Examine the board carefully. There are three sizes of atom, and each size has one more electron than the one before it. You add free electrons to them, and when the atoms get past three electrons, they explode and are added to the next atom they encounter. Make sure you know where each type of atom is.

    • 2

Plot how to clean the most atoms with the least addition of electrons. For instance, you might have an atom that you can explode by adding just a single electron. Or you might have an atom that needs two free electrons, but it's surrounded by a field of atoms that will blow up when it blows up. Add as few electrons as possible to the board for the best results.

    • 3

Add electrons until the map is clear. The faster you clear the map, and the fewer electrons you use, the more you'll get to take with you to the next level. This ensures that when you reach the second to last level, you have the same strategy and it will deliver the same results.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you play the early levels well, then you can analyze your mistakes later. Even if you don't beat the second to last level, each mistake you correct gives you a better chance.
