How to Do the Degrees Symbol on a Mac
Mac OS X and Windows use completely different keyboard shortcut commands for most actions, which can make it confusing to find certain symbols when you first make the switch to Mac. Although it is not exactly the most common symbol used in daily life, at some point you may need to use the "degree" symbol for temperatures or angles, and you'll notice you don't have it on your keyboard. To access mathematical symbols such as the "degree" symbol, you can use the "Special Characters" option in your "Edit" menu in any application on Mac OS X.
