How to Get Your MySpace Mood to Say Something Other Than the Mood
MySpace is a social networking site that lets members communicate with each other via messages, chat, and shared music and entertainment links. One of the options the site offers its users is the chance to display a "Mood," such as a happy face, sad face, angry face or sleepy face, to all the people who visit that profile page. The MySpace mood is often displayed alone, without an accompanying message, but you can remove the mood and place a personal message in its place. This takes just a few moments and is easy to do.

1
Launch a Web browser, navigate to MySpace.com and log in to your account. If you are taken to your MySpace profile page rather than your home screen, click the "Home" link at the top of the screen.
-
2
Click the "Status and Mood" field at the top of the screen. The words "Share What You're Into" appear inside this field, but vanish once you click on the area.

3
Type any message that you wish to appear in the place of your mood. No mood is listed now -- only the message you typed. For your message to be accompanied by a mood, select one from the drop-down mood menu directly underneath the "Share What You're Into" field. Any mood you choose appears in addition to your message, but you are not required to select a mood and the default option is "None," meaning no mood appears by default.

4
Click "Share" to save your changes and post this message to your wall in the place of your mood.
