How to Stop Fsg.exe

Stopping and deleting the fsg.exe program from your computer can prevent third parties from collecting some of your Internet browsing data and generating advertisement messages on your computer. Fsg.exe is part of the ClariaGAIN spyware application. Once it is installed on your computer, ClariaGAIN can monitor and upload your Internet browsing habits to a remote server and display unwanted advertisement windows on your screen. You can remove ClariaGAIN from your computer by running a hard drive scan with Windows Defender, the anti-spyware application that is part of your regular Windows installation.

Instructions

1. Click on the Windows "Start" button in your taskbar. Type "Windows Defender in the search box, and then press "Enter" to launch the program.

2. Click on the "Scan" button at the top of the window, and then select the "Scan now" option. Windows Defender will now scan your hard drive, which should take a couple of minutes. Once the hard drive scan is complete, a new window will appear.

3. Click on "Remove all" to allow Windows Defender to remove ClariaGAIN from your computer, which should take less than a minute.
