How to Select All on Facebook When Inviting

Facebook allows you to invite your friends to any event that you create. However, you must manually select each friend when sending out the invites. This can be problematic if you have a large number of friends on Facebook. You can circumvent this problem by using a JavaScript that automatically selects all your friends in Facebook.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Facebook account.

2. Click the "Events" tab on the left-side of your Facebook account.

3. Click on an event.

4. Click the "Select Guests to Invite" button on the left-side of your Facebook account.

5. Type "javascript:javascript:var elms=document.getElementsByName("checkableitems[]");for(var count=0;count<elms.length;count++){var t = setTimeout("elms["+count+"].click()",100)}" (without quotes) into the URL bar at the top of the Web browser. Make sure that you delete the current URL before typing in the JavaScript.

6. Press "Enter." The JavaScript will automatically select all your friends in Facebook.

7. Click "Submit" to send out the invites.
