How to Create a Document From CS5
The Adobe Creative Suite 5 (CS5) provides programs for film editing, motion graphics, photo editing, graphic designs and book publishing. New documents can be created in CS5 using presets or custom options, giving the user complete freedom in what they want to create and how they want to create it.

Open the Adobe Creative Suite program in which you want to create a new document. New Documents can be created in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign -- to name a few.

Click "File" in the toolbar, then "New" and "Document."

Select a document preset from the preset drop-down menu, or create your own dimensions or document options using the settings available.

Click "OK" to open your new blank document.
