How to Embed on Boxden

Boxden is an Internet message board with an urban feel. It has heavily populated forums discussing a number of subjects from an urban viewpoint, including boards dedicated to hip-hop, sneakers, video games and basketball. Members who post on Boxden can embed images and videos into their posts to add some color and content to their contributions to the site. Embedding videos and images on Boxden is a relatively simple task.

Instructions

Embedding Images

1. Log in to your Boxden account by entering your user name and password into the "User Name" and "Password" boxes on the Boxden homepage and clicking "Sign In."

2. Click on the thread you wish to embed an image into, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Go Advanced" to open the advanced reply view.

3. Click the icon with a picture of a mountain range on it. This will bring up a pop-up box asking you for the URL of your image. Copy and paste the URL of the image you wish to embed into this box then click "OK."

4. Click "Submit Reply" to submit your response to the thread, complete with embedded image.

Embedding Videos

1. Log in to your Boxden account by entering your user name and password into the "User Name" and "Password" boxes on the Boxden homepage and clicking "Sign In."

2. Click on the thread you wish to embed a video into, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Go Advanced" to open the advanced reply view.

3. Click the main text box and paste the URL of any YouTube video you wish to embed.

4. Click "Submit Reply" to submit your response to the thread. Your video will automatically be embedded into the post.
