Embellish a cuff bracelet with vibrant beads.

Design a handmade beaded cuff bracelet to match your favorite outfits. Save money and a trip to a costly jewelry boutique by creating your own stylish bracelet using sparkling beads and a plain aluminum or brass cuff, also known as a blank, which you can find at craft and jewelry supply stores. Cuffs are wide bracelets made to slip onto your wrist easily via an opening at the bottom.

Instructions

    • 1

Choose a brass or aluminum cuff blank with a width that accommodates your personal style.

    • 2

Pick a flat-backed glass or plastic bead to use as a bracelet centerpiece. Choose a bead featuring a bold, eye-catching design, such as a diamond shape, in a color that you like.

    • 3

Apply hot glue to the back of the bead and then press the bead onto the top center of the cuff bracelet.

    • 4

Enhance the cuff bracelet with additional flat-backed beads. Glue two smaller beads featuring complementary colors to either side of the centerpiece. Alternatively, glue even rows of beads onto the cuff to cover the entire surface.

Tips & Warnings

  • Grasp smaller beads with tweezers when applying glue to protect your fingers.
