How to Set Up a D-Link DIR-655 Router for the Fastest Speed
The D-Link DIR-655 wireless router features a gigabit WAN port and 4 gigabit LAN ports for full gigabit speed communications across wired Ethernet. The DIR-655 also features 802.11n wireless networking support for speeds up to 270 Mbps when used with corresponding 802.11n wireless network cards. The DIR-655 is capable of working with older wireless devices, which may not support the fastest speeds available. You can set up a D-Link DIR-655 wireless router for the fastest speed by manually specifying the wireless connection capabilities.
