How to Reset an LG Viewty
The LG Viewty is a series of touchscreen smartphones that lets you access the Internet, use wireless Bluetooth devices, view electronic documents as well as access email. But like other electronic devices, the LG Viewty does not always work correctly. This includes the phone freezing while you are using it and specific functions on the device not working properly. When problems and errors occur, you can reset the smartphone via its "Menu" function and return it to a working state.

Tap the "Menu" icon on your LG Viewty, and then tap the "Phone settings" icon.

Scroll down and tap "Reset settings" to access your phone's reset function.

Tap "Yes" when the reset warning message displays, informing you that resetting your device returns it to its factory settings.

Enter "0000" into the security code field to begin the resetting process. Your phone will prompt you when the process is complete. Power off, then power your phone back on to use it.

This reset procedure works on all LG Viewty model phones.
Restoring the device to its factory settings will remove applications, contacts and photos.
