How to Make a Road Block From Foam
There are many reasons to create a roadblock, but certainly the most important is for safety. Many children suffer from accidents in their very own driveways when someone drives in without seeing the child playing. Even if you aren't expecting company, anyone can pull in your driveway to turn his vehicle around. Children lying down in your driveway drawing with sidewalk chalk are especially vulnerable. The best way to protect your children is to provide constant supervision during outside play and to place a roadblock to prevent accidents.

1
Use the yardstick to measure the width of the road or driveway you wish to block. Write the measurement down.
-
2
Choose the size of foam block you wish to use. Record the width of the block.
-
-
3
Divide the width of the driveway by the width of the block to determine how many blocks are needed to fully block the road or driveway.
-
4
Place the foam blocks side by side to block the road or driveway. Keep in mind that the road or driveway need not be fully blocked to be effective. Spaces between the blocks are acceptable as long as they are not wide enough for a vehicle to pass through.
